As an undergraduate sociology major, I am passionate about understanding the complexities of human behavior and the social systems that shape our lives. My strong academic foundation in this field has honed my critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, which I have applied to various professional experiences.My experience in pool management and lifeguarding has taught me valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and crisis management. As a pool manager, I was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a private pool, ensuring the safety of all patrons, managing a team of lifeguards, and maintaining the facility. This role required me to be proactive, detail-oriented, and responsive.In addition to my work in pool management, I have also gained experience as a Senior Educator at Granite Education. In this role, I have had the opportunity to work one-on-one with students of various ages and backgrounds, helping them to achieve their academic goals and develop confidence in their abilities. Through this work, I have developed a deep appreciation for the power of education to transform lives and make a positive impact on the world.As I continue to pursue my undergraduate degree in sociology, I am excited to explore new opportunities to apply my skills and knowledge to meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of others.
