With over 14 years of experience in sports and dance education, I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Director and SEN coordinator at Dancenergy, a company that offers high quality sports coaching and clubs for children and staff. My mission is to make PE accessible and enjoyable for all children, neurodivergent and neurotypical and to support schools in enhancing their sports provisions and curriculum. I value inclusion, diversity, and creativity, and I strive to bring these elements to every project and partnership I work on.As a SEN coordinator, I work closely with schools, teachers, and parents to assess the needs and abilities of each SEN child, and to design and implement personalised and engaging PE plans, activities, and interventions. I also provide training and mentoring for staff and coaches, and monitor and evaluate the impact and outcomes of our services. Some of the skills I use and develop in this role include SEN, sports teams, leadership, communication, and collaboration. I am proud to be part of a team that is passionate about great PE being accessible for every single child and teacher.
