Having worked with the most vulnerable and disengaged young people on child protection orders and in leadership roles in both welfare and education sector I have extensive experience in working with disadvantage . I incorporate a meta analysis of practice that links theoretical welfare and teaching principles to support increased teaching and learning outcomes. I have experience in building organisational cultures through training to enhance the capacity of schools to work more effectively with young people and see value in strengthening organisational systems to be more robust. As a senior manager I have experience in managing a range of staffing groups.My main professional goal is to improve the opportunities of the vulnerable and disadvantaged young people that I work with through education.
