I have over ten years experience working with children from ages newborn to preteen. I value and take pride in creating professional relationships with the families I work with, encouraging open communication and delivering positive feedback. During my time as a private childcare provider, I have engaged with children, providing nurturing, safe environments to promote, emotional, social and intellectual growth. Outside of being a private childcare provider, I am an Early Childhood Ministry Partner at my local church. Under this role I have built a stable, consistent and positive environment for children 0-5 years old. I have also been responsible for planning and implementing serving schedules for Sunday volunteers, working towards creating an environment where volunteers feel supported and informed, ensuring that there are opportunities for questions and concerns to be addressed from volunteers and parents, and organizing and stocking both the volunteer and children's spaces to ensure volunteers feel prepared and comfortable to serve effectively. I have also gained experience as a Preschool intern in creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum addressing all learning styles. As well as, planning and implementing lesson plans following a thematic curriculum.
