Responsible for managing a portfolio of cell culture supplements and stem cell matrices. I develop business cases to address new market requirements in the protein therapeutic, gene, and cell therapy markets and manage projects to drive product development and product launches.Finally, I establish and communicate the product vision, strategy, and development ‘roadmap’ and plan marketing campaigns to address changes in product life cycles.

Responsible for demonstrating the product’s value proposition and conducting market research and business development discussions with prospective customers and Key Opinion Leaders.Experience gained in international travel to visit prospective customers in Singapore, Australia, Japan, Korea, and numerous locations within EMEA, and NA.Experience handling direct competition in the field – particularly with highly complex biotech products. Supported product development by working closely with Product Managers to evaluate customer feedback and strategize around further / new product development.

Responsible for developing and optimizing Standard Operating Procedures to mimic customer workflows in-house for a wide variety of cell types. This required extensive mammalian cell culture, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), Chinese Hamster Ovary cells, and Human Embryonic Kidney cells. During my time as a Scientist, I was assigned project lead for the introduction of culturing iPSCs to the Solentim laboratory. This involved training new team members, as well as in-house demonstrations. I developed excellent communication skills through working within a multidisciplinary team that included biologists, software engineers and hardware engineers.Finally, I developed the ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot technical and experimental difficulties quickly and efficiently through supporting the launch of new products, and development of legacy instruments.
