As a member of the Systems Team, I worked specifically as a Human Factors Engineering expert. My collaboration occured with the various development engineers to iteratively test prototypes and contribute to the risk management file.

I worked with both internal and external industrial design development teams to research, synthesize, and ideate product concepts. As well as generating an internal design process to aid efficient product development.

I evaluated radiation dose management, analytics software, and injection systems from a human factors perspective. As well as coordinated and conducted international and domestic user testing

I worked directly with both technical and medical teams in order to determine how a blood glucose management system would work from a user experience perspective.

The Development of a “WellCar” vehicle with advanced medical equipment and communications systems will advance healthcare treatment at reduced cost. Implementation is by a healthcare professional staff driving to the patient(s)’ location. There they will perform diagnostic exams and tests; interactively consult with other healthcare professional staff and doctors about the patient through the telecommunications systems and secure medical data transfer systems while being at the patient(s) location; and provide the needed treatments or care for patients. - Greg Thomas (Center for Design Research Director at The University of Kansas)

My group and I created new concepts of application for Sprint and their Velocity program. We created graphic posters to demonstrate our concept pitches. The project was held at The Center for Design Research located Lawrence, Kansas and the final presentation was in Overland Park, Kansas at the Sprint Campus.

My position was managing the website for 60+ faculty members, the current site is being transfered from Dreamweaver to Drupal. I also designed graphic work for the various events, this includes programs and posters.

Organized student records, handled emergency situations, managed new student check-in and living situations.

My team and I created a family of products under Bayer's instructions to develop a new system/tool for being more aware of your diabetes status inside the car/vehicle. We worked on multidisciplinary teams built with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, graphic designers, and electrical engineers.

Our team competed in a project to improve the economy of Wyandotte County, KS by utilizing an Airstream trailer. We competed against graduate students in both Architecture and a Business.

Seated guests, managed servers and organized reservations.

I helped complete multiple projects for this large scale mosaic company. As a design coordinator, projects had to be visually developed in order to be presented to the architecture firms. My work included computer design and physical labor, from cutting tile to mapping out the overall images.

My group and I created new concepts of a gear shift for Ford Motor Company. We designed sketch models, renderings, and user testing to complete our final presentation of two gear shift concepts. The project was held at The Center for Design Research located Lawrence, Kansas.
