I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2021 with a first in my Biomedical Science Degree and am currently a Productive Specialist for South Manchester at Urgo Medical.Prior to this I was working in a busy GP surgery as a medical summariser after taking a year out, to travel across the world. I was employed at a large Asda for 3 months after graduating, waiting for COVID restrictions to be more lenient. I was working in their cash office department, solely responsible for cashing up and re filling their 15 tills before the store opened, doing all the banking on the days I was working, in charge of employee consumable and uniform orders and working on the pay roll. This was a very large role which I was able to pick up very quickly, committing to starting work in the very early hours of the morning and taking on any tasks my manager would give me. This job was very rewarding as it enabled me to work on my independent working style and gave me an opportunity to put my organising and time management skills to the test, as I had to complete many tasks in a given working day. Prior to this I worked in a gin bar in Aylesbury called The Craftyard, which I was awarded most successful in sales when selling particular gin flavours to customers three weeks in a row. I loved this job as it was in the forefront of customer interactions, whilst also working in a part of a team and encouraged me to challenge my sales experience.Experience: I was a member of the Army Cadet Force for 6 years, I worked hard to reach the highest level available, in charge of over 400 cadets. This gave me an opportunity to communicate with many different age groups with confidence and gain leadership skills, whilst giving me very good organisation. I volunteered at a care home for a year, leading entertainment for the residents and tending to needs. I tutored A Level and GCSE maths for a private tutoring company for a year and a half whilst doing my A Levels. Further improving my organisation, communication and time management skills I worked in a gift shop for 3 years, where I was the only member of staff on duty dealing with deliveries, managing transactions and giving me excellent customer service skills.
