Since 2017, specialising in practices within health and social care, collaborating with people living with dementia and their supporters. Spent one year working part time as a Social Prescriber as part of a Primary Care Integrated Care team and subsequently designed and delivered 'arts on prescription' services.Extensive experience making work for and with children and young people. Collaborating with organisations such as Donmar Warehouse, National Theatre of Scotland, GMAC Film, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Janice Parker Projects, Buzzcut Festival, Deer Shed Festival, Glasgow Youth Arts Hub, Firefly Arts and Impact Arts. Co-founder of Thimble Collective, a company making experimental, participatory arts experiences for young people in collaboration with Kim Donohoe. From September 2014 I worked as a Connector for Glasgow Youth Arts Hub (GYAH). I supported the development and delivery of GYAH’s two year pilot programme funded by Creative Scotland’s Time to Shine Policy- the UK's first Youth Arts Policy. In this role I worked in partnership with a variety of creative organisations to increase provision of high quality free arts experiences and progression into creative industries for young people in Glasgow. I project managed the Youth Led Committee who are central to all the work across GYAH and it was my responsibility to ensure workshops were engaging, empowering and youth led. I worked in partnership with local schools and community organisations to recruit young people for creative projects and delivered artistic workshops. With support from GYAH’s producer I worked across a diverse range of projects in which I was responsible for design, development and delivery. Supporting freelance artists and youth workers and YLC members who worked as workshops assistants across our festival and community workshops. Responsibilities: - Maintain and strengthen on existing relationships with network of youth and arts organisations in Glasgow- Connect groups and organisations with opportunities in their area through ongoing dialogue- Collect and collate monitoring and evaluation data in their area- Support training and development of youth committee members- Support development of wider youth network- Develop mentoring and training programme with the Youth Arts Hub team- Create content and regularly update social media and website- Support digital development of Youth Arts Hub- Attend regular support meetings with the producer- Collaborate with other Connectors- Work with the youth arts hub team to deliver the Youth Arts Festival- Act as a representative of Youth Arts Hub at National meetings- Be an advocate for Youth Arts- Work with and manage freelancers as part of the Youth Arts programme as required

As co-founder of Thimble Collective, an immersive experimental theatre company specialising in work with and for young people we applied to be part of Juice Festival 2015 in Newcastle and Gateshead. We were successfully commissioned to develop and deliver All Night, Tonight! a participatory theatrical experience that engaged in three week long school residencies, two primary schools and one secondary SEN school. This was to create content for our late night TV station that ran through the night for children who can’t (or won’t) sleep at night in the lead up to our residency at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art during the schools October break. During the project the schools completed their Bronze Arts Award and supported curriculum aims.
