Strategic Operations Management:Developing and implementing operational strategies and plans that align with the football department’s overall objectives.Monitoring and analysing operational performance to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.Ensure that operational activities are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.Process Optimisation:Streamlining operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.Leading initiatives to improve operational workflows, reduce costs, and increase overall effectiveness.Implementing best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across departments.Team Leadership and Development:Leading compliance of club licensing requirements set by Canada Soccer & Canadian Soccer BusinessOverseeing execution of club events team including preseason tours, home match days as well as daily training centre and stadium facility operationsAdministrative support on matters of player and staff management across Football Department including Registration & Documentation, Housing, Travel, TransitEvent management and execution on all first team and development program initiatives First team preseason planning, Development & Academy Team Series, ID camps, Coaching Clinics Fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Setting clear goals and objectives for the team and provide regular feedback and support.Cross-Departmental Collaboration:Working closely with other departments, such as technical, medical, performance, recruitment and business office to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.Facilitating communication and coordination between departments to achieve operational goals.Addressing and resolve any operational issues or conflicts that arise.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring that all operational activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Work closely with the Storm Board to assess and address issues that may be affecting the organization.Oversee daily operations of the Club, provide executive direction for program strategies and efficiencies, compliance, and quality assurance.Identify and address requirements for efficient operations, and maintaining a strong working culture that attracts and retains coaches and volunteers while driving the Clubs mission.Increase awareness and registration for the Club.Developing an actionable plan for fundraising and executing this strategy.Comply with all national and local regulations.Responsible for initiating change and supporting the Club to improve the productivity and effectiveness of their internal operations. Recommending cost-effective solutions to operational challenges.Facilitating training initiatives and promoting best practices.Leading on Long-Term Planning initiatives and KPI’s.Leading on HR and Governance.Key milestones -Achieving substantial Club growth since the beginning of 2023 and tripling registration numbers.Building the required Governance, Administration, Infrastructure, and Technical Pillars to ensure the Club Licensing standards were met and Storm Soccer Club was recognised as a Quality Soccer Provider.Implementing a mentorship program to support young players to pursue coaching. Participating in TELUS She Can Coach Program and Soccer Canada Free Kicks to promote sport accessibility, diversity, and inclusivity within the community.Introducing a Volunteer Mental Health Liaison to support parents, players, coaches, and volunteers and provide advice, resources, and support.Implementing partnerships with external stakeholders to boost player development pathways and technical support.
