I deliver high quality, effective, impartial Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance following Ofsted requirements to include one-to-one appointments, work experience, FE and apprenticeship guidance. As part of my role, I have established and developed effective, beneficial links with employers, colleges, apprenticeship providers and universities and negotiated SLAs with the local authority as appropriate. I incorporated our Trust schools into the West of England Careers Hub and secured grant funding to support careers activities in school over the past three years.I have built a network of alumni to support the careers guidance programme. I have facilitated high-quality work experience placement opportunities for Year 10 and Lower Sixth pupils to assist with applications to university, apprenticeships and longer-term career choices.I organise Mock Interview events and Apprenticeship Fairs and deliver high-quality information, advice and guidance to identify potential NEET students from Year 10 and Year 11. I work with the SEN Leads to manage student/parent expectations of Post 16 and Post 18 options. I provide unbiased, awareness-raising opportunities and exposure to a range of progression and careers information/opportunities which includes a range of visiting speakers from industry, developing careers-related materials for lessons/careers office for all year groups.

Business development and implementation of Early College Entry programme, relationship building with 14 local secondary schools to provide bespoke provision for disengaged 14-16-year-old pupils. Organised and attended external careers fairs and events, careers and pastoral support & guidance for 14-19-year-old students, Coordinated and mentored the Student Council. Organised all Enrichment activities and events.

Supported the General Manager in the day to day running of the hotel and helped launch a corporate members club.

Interviewing candidates, placing candidates with high profile clients, networking and bringing in new business from private individuals, global investment companies, hedge funds, management consultancies and private banks.

Worked alongside James Ogilvy & David Bentheim to event manage high profile fundraising events for a children’s cancer charity including the opening night of Mary Poppins in the West End with a tea party for 500 at Fortnum & Mason beforehand; Celebrity Sports Night at The Royal Exchange compered by Jeremy Clarkson with Frankie Dettori, Eddie Jordan, Clare Balding; private dinner for 80 at Pia Getty’s new home; dinner for 150 at Luciano (pre-opening), Marco Pierre White’s new restaurant in St James’s; Summer Picnic at Park Place, Henley for 250.

Worked across Lady Weinberg’s businesses – hotels including Blakes Hotel, The Hempel and Blakes Amsterdam; private interior clients, couture, home accessories business and architectural practice. Organised the launch party for The Hempel which consisted of a private viewing of a Merchant Ivory film and high profile party afterwards in the garden square at The Hempel, proceeds of which went to Elton John Aids Foundation. Also involved from inception to completion of Blakes Amsterdam.
