Freelance Music ProfessionalFreelance Apr 2013 - PresentI currently run an open mic, do occasional live sound and music production and teach privately.Over the last 10 years I have designed/delivered music sessions for schools, youth and community settings and the prison service. Client groups have included people of all ages and abilities and those with additional social, emotional and intellectual needs. I also have experience working as a TA and Peripatetic Music teacher in mainstream schools.One of my most enjoyable ventures has been in developing “rockschool” holiday activities, which I project manage from start to finish. Over 3 days we do fun circle games and I teach basic rhythm skills which can then be transfered to other instruments. Participants then learn to play simple rock and pop songs as a band.

I also gained experience in sound and stage setups as part of my training so all in all this job enabled me to use what I had learned during my degree. -
