As Sales Support Manager I liaised with customers and suppliers to complete orders and customer requests using Sage 50 Accounts. The role was very varied and allowed me to use my organisational skills to prioritise my work. I liaised with the Warehouse Team and delivery drivers to ensure orders went out complete and stocks were sufficient.

Within this role organisation is imperative to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard, from booking corporate functions to children’s birthday parties, group visits to Kent Life and liaising with the Wedding Coordinator. In addition to managing the volunteers on site, I also manage the main email address and phone line for Kent Life, dealing with enquiries, guest feedback and much more on a daily basis.

Working within the small business of a pub, I had to undertake many other roles than just the stereotypical waitress, from opening up the pub on my own to helping with the promotion of charity events and designing promotional material for the business, I involved myself thoroughly in the workings of the pub. Working on busy events such as private functions, I looked after the guests with a professional attitude and met their every need.

As a Billing Analyst, I took on numerous different tasks a day, all of which required concentration and attention to detail. Multitasking is a skill which becomes a necessity along with the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines and complete work to a high standard.

As a PR Trainee, I undertook the role of dealing with various clients regarding media publicity, and producing written work for the media. My effective communication skills came to hand when dealing with phone calls and emails regarding client requests. In a short amount of time I was also able to pick up how to use tools such as Hootsuite, Quark, Mailchimp and many more to assist with the daily PR tasks.
