I am a recent graduate of the University of Ulster achieving a Bachelor's degree in International Politics and American Studies. I am immersed in community outreach - working with organizations such as Amnesty International yet I am more heavily involved in local organizations such as the Play Trail a charity aimed at children with learning difficulties and The Rainbow Centre a pet re-homing centre.As a Team Leader at Sainsbury's I possess the means to manage a group of people in terms of motivating and directing in the hope of achieving one common goal. I have completed an extensive internship with my local Member of Parliament where I explored the inner workings of a busy constituency office. I spent a lot of time drafting policy amendments, media releases and letters to constituents and other political bodies. Through my experience I am hoping to further my career in the political field as I am interested in an entry level position with any organization in the Government and Policy sector.
