In this role, I currently serve as a Social Studies teacher, Student Government Advisor, and World History team lead, with over 7 years of experience in the field. Originally hired at Marley Middle School within the Anne Arundel County Public Schools system, I joined Crofton High School in 2020.During my time at Crofton High School, I've created and delivered engaging and innovative curriculum to both remote, hybrid, and in-person classrooms to navigate the impacts of the global COVID-19 pandemic. My focus is to deliver highly impactful content that connects with students with the love of learning, meets state and national goals to prepare students for higher education, and leverages multiple technology platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft office, and other key technologies that prepare students of life after high school.As team lead for World History curriculum, my role is to plan and lead collaborative meetings across the content team to help analyze performance data for the students, evaluate teaching practices, and coordinate curriculum outcomes with classroom goals.I have a passion for Student Government. As the Student Government Advisor, I am responsible for the conceptualization, organization, and program management alongside my elected students of multiple school events in close partnership with diverse school organizations and community partners.Specialities: Classroom management, organizational skills, collaborative problem solving, strategic program planning and execution, communication and leadership skills.

In two years at Mariana Bracetti Academy, I served as a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher who instructed College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses for United States Government and Politics courses.This role allowed me to instruct a wide range of students, including first-generation Americans and English Language Learners, within an underserved urban community. During this time, I delivered engaging and impactful curriculum while adapting the materials to accommodate a diverse classroom, including special education learners such as those with dyslexia, visual impairments, and attention deficit disorders.
