I have begun to project manage certain sites with financial responsibilities such as invoicing.I have continued my love for site works, with logging, verification visits and monitoring still being regular enjoyable occurrences in my schedule. I became part of the Construction Training Solutions Centre of Excellence Club aimed at boosting women in the industry, and I also joined the company diversity group, which is something I am highly passionate about.In this role I worked away from home a lot, travelling around the south and east, London as well as further afield to the North-West.In this role I gained my CSCS card, HSG47 Cat and Genny, one day first aid training with St. Johns Ambulance, EMSS safety passport, and attending the Equipe groups David Norbury Soil Logging course. Through my role as Park Presenter I was mainly focused on the customer experience on the farm. Church farm is a family run business consisting of an organic farm shop, animal park and coffee shop. Throughout the day are timetabled activities with animals, where I would give fun and factual talks about the different animals for a variety of age ranges from children to adults. The talks would usual culminate in a chance to pet or feed the animals which I supervised. Three times daily I also ran tractor "barrel train" rides where I would drive the children around the farm. In any spare moments I would help with the upkeep of the farm, answer any customer queries, and even on the busiest of days be in the coffee shop helping make drinks and serve customers. This was a full on role which has given me great confidence in public speaking, communication and responsibility. Show less
