I'm a seasoned specialist in government relations, campaigns, and advocacy. Before joining Minderoo Foundation as Director of Government Relations and Engagement, I held the position of Director at Hawker Britton, Australia’s premier firm for government relations, strategic counsel, and communications, operating nationally and across multiple jurisdictions.Following the 2021 election, I assumed the role of Manager of Executive Operations with Cricket Australia and WA Cricket, overseeing the finalization of State and Federal funding agreements as part of the $1.6 billion Perth City Deals project.During my tenure as Chief of Staff in the McGowan Government, I played key roles in significant initiatives, including the commissioning of Optus Stadium, the implementation of the Strategic Funding Review of State Sporting Associations in WA, and the development of WA’s inaugural Strategy to Respond to the Abuse of Older People (Elder Abuse) 2019-2029, as well as the Asian Sport Engagement program.With over a decade of experience at senior levels of government and politics, my journey began with the Eric Ripper Opposition, where I contributed to the development of the Metronet rail infrastructure program. Later, as part of Mark McGowan’s Policy Committee prior to the 2017 WA State Election, I coordinated the Leaders campaign program and contributed to WA Labor’s strategies for statewide job creation, regional economic development, and major infrastructure programs.My track record demonstrates a commitment to client advocacy, fostering better policy outcomes for the non-profit sector, promoting community engagement, and fostering cohesive teams.Before my government tenure, I worked in the aged and disability sector, served actively as a reservist with RAAF 25 SQN, and hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Analytical Chemistry.
