Examination Administration Coordinator
CurrentResponsible for planning, organizing and acting as a key member of the Command Centre Team for the delivery of the Certification Examination in Family Medicine and the Examination of Added Competence in Emergency Medicine for approx. 900+ examination volunteers. - Acting as the first point of contact for all active CCFP members looking to get involved in the Examination process as well as coaching and building relationships with experienced examiners and interested members.- Leading the recruitment and retention of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine examination volunteers.- Creating, compiling, and distributing a high volume of confidential and time-critical examination material to all examination volunteers.- Facilitating the examiner pre-training and training sessions as well as coordinating nation-wide teleconferences.- Managing reimbursement processes and tracking for 900+ examiner volunteers.- Collaborating and maintaining a good rapport with family medicine departments across Canada to assist with examiner/simulated candidate recruitment challenges.- Investigating, analyzing and validating candidates’ requests for Review of Marks and Reconsideration of Awarded Standing for the oral examination components.- Supporting the delivery of virtual SOO exams and Structured Orals examinations on site at the examination Command Centre; monitoring candidate/examiner status and progress to ensure timely connection to the virtual exam platform.
