I am currently working at WineGB as Sustainability Executive. I am leading SWGB (sustainability certification for English and Welsh Wineries and Vineyards), supporting these businesses develop their sustainability strategy and work towards a more sustainable and inclusive wine industry. In my previous role, I was ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Specialist at The Keyholding Company. My responsibilities include Health and Safety, ED&I initiatives, getting us to Net Zero and everything in between. I often freelance as a B Corp Assessment Project Manager, specialising in getting small, mission-led, business across the finishing line. After university, I was the Sustainability and Accessibility Executive at Projects Brighton. I turned their ethos and values into practical tools and clear policies to help educate and empower the community to make better choices, working with the rest of the Projects team to review and improve how we operated as a people and planet first work space and business. My background in Anthropology, as a graduate from the University of Sussex, and my experience with my own disability has directed my passion for sustainability and accessibility into the workplace. My final year thesis on the accessibility of the University of Sussex is now being used to change how the university operates in regard to accessibility, making structural and procedural changes.My interest in other cultures has led me to opportunities such as teaching English in China and volunteering at a Calais refugee camp.
