Chapter One Events is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to create communities --both online and off-- for young authors and aspiring writers. After Chapter One Young Writer's Conference Conference in 2017, I was appointed the director of the conference and Vice President of the organization.During my time in this position, I have: Negotiated contracts for speakers, vendors, and venues that fit within our established conference budget. Organized social media campaigns, contests, and online events to promote the yearly conference and other organization endeavors.Helped the organization transition from an LLC and a non-profit. I spent10 weeks of student teaching in Edison Middle School LLC, followed by 6 weeks at Longwood Elementary School LLC.

Throughout the summer of 2019, I assisted the CDK Global communications team, both by creating content and managing social media. My experience in the CCoE was invaluable, and I am incredibly grateful to have had this opportunity.

During my time in this position, I have: Crafted social media posts to promote the June Media community. Researched and created over fifty delicious, family-oriented recipe collections. Edited and posted various online lifestyle content for women for the peak SEO. Generated thousands of page views for the website, translating into ad revenue for the company. The Oakbrook 12 AMC, located in Oakbrook mall, is a luxury movie theater with a classic concessions menu and IMAX Dolby options. During my time as a team member, I was awarded employee of the month and achieved high loyalty enrollment numbers.

In this position I did the following:Helped patrons, answered telephone calls and checked out library materials at the Circulation Desk. Aided in the maintenance and organization of the collection. Navigated the Christopher Center’s catalog, along with the dozens of other online databases.
