During the final year of my law degree I volunteered as a caseworker at the Freedom Law Clinic to help those who have potentially been subject to legal injustice. My workload focused on an appeal which concerned a joint enterprise murder conviction. To determine whether the conviction was unsafe, I independently examined over 10 years’ worth of evidence, pursued new lines of inquiry and conducted extensive research. Upon finding the conviction to be unsafe, I collaborated with other students to draft grounds of appeal addressed to the Criminal Cases Review Commission.

While attaining my law degree I completed work experience at two legal advice clinics in Tower Hamlets where I worked closely with solicitors from Dentons and Clifford Chance. My supervisors tasked me with conducting client interviews and preparing attendance notes which recorded the relevant facts and a preliminary assessment of the client's legal position.

I started working at NorDesign as a production assistant for the duration of school summer holidays when I was 14 years old. I manufactured, packaged and posted branded items to companies all over Scandinavia. After consistently completing large orders in limited time periods, my responsibilities at NorDesign increased. At the age of 16 I was independently operating advanced machinery and complex software to design logos and create colour schemes. These responsibilities enabled the development of my creative skills and ability to translate our clients' requests into reality. During my final summers at NorDesign I was tasked with invoicing clients and building new client relationships.

I enrolled in this course to prepare for the SRA's centralised SQE2 assessments. I passed SQE2 (attained 75% overall). Modules: Advocacy.

Sqe1 Preparation Course

I enrolled in this course to prepare for the SRA's centralised SQE1 assessments. I passed both parts of SQE1; attained 61% in FLK 1.
