On this HR Graduate scheme I completed several placements within different HR teams to gain a wealth of experience, including:• Working with Miller & Carter to evaluate and redesign the training plan delivered to FOH team members in all new openings. This involved creating new content and resources for delivery. • Working in the Openings Team where I delivered engaging, brand specific training to FOH teams as part of investment in their business in the form of a remodel or conversion, including sessions on product knowledge, upselling and guest recovery. I supported management teams and Project Implementation Trainers in delivering the capital plan, also ensuring our businesses are safe, legal and ready to open. I was also responsible for ensuring openings were completed within budget, which required tight control over wastage, stock and labour. • Working with two digital learning specialists on the creation and roll out of a brand-new Learning Management System to 47,000 employees. I was responsible for migrating all content over from our previous system, working with a range key stakeholders throughout the business to ensure content migrated over was relevant, up to date and designed correctly. I was also responsible for eLearning content creation and design; I created a range of new eLearning courses using Gomo Learning and Articulate 360 Rise, including mandatory and non-mandatory learning, for example Data Protection, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Coffee courses. I also liaised with external communications agencies and was responsible for executing the Communications plan to ensure the roll out of the new system was as successful as possible, as well as working with others on internal communications across all brands. • Acting as a holding Retail Recruitment Manager for a range of brands in the London district. This required having a solid understanding of CV searching, proactive headhunting, succession planning and interviewing techniques.
