Landscape Design for customers included a one-on-one consult - gaining an understanding of what they are looking for, and what they are willing to do when it comes to up keep. I would then walk around their home/landscape, or if I met at Edenvale, I would walk them around and see what they are attracted to and what pairs well with each other. I would collect their contact information, take time to draw up the plan - after I was at the site and took measurements and photos - and contact the customer and meet up to go over the plan. If there was anything they personally did not like, I would make suggestions until they were completely satisfied. I was also in charge of Sales, Grounds Maintenance, Delivery, Customer Service. Grounds maintenance tasks were everything from organizing stock, raking, watering stock, arrangments - for customers to see what plants look like together, and stock up keep - trimming, pruning etc. I would also, whether I designed the plan or not, install plants and landscaping. I worked independently out of Edenvale so I made sure to keep everything neat and tidy when I left the site.
