Hello! My name is Emma Sheets. I graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Interior Design and a Minor in Architecture. I am now a grad student at Texas Tech University pursuing a Master of Environmental Design. My college career started at Amarillo College. At AC, I attained a Drafting Technician Certification. After I transferred to Texas Tech University, I was hired at AMD Engineering as a Survey CAD Technician. This experience has given me great insight into the surveying and engineering world. I am thankful to have been a part of this team and for the knowledge I now obtain. I am now hired at Parkhill in Lubbock as a Part-Time Design Professional. I started at Parkhill as a design student and now have transitioned into a new position since my graduation. During my time at TTU, I have gained insightful information on designing for a better world. I am eager to start my design career and use this information for my future clients. I want to provide my clients with a design that has been researched properly and given thoughtful consideration in sustainability, universal and biophilic design. I believe these implications will create human-centered designs and a better world.
