I TUPE transferred from the City of London to WDP on the same terms and conditions, including job description and person specification. There wasn't a role suitable for me in the new organisation so I asked for voluntary redundancy once the transition from one service provider to the other was complete.Key success: As service lead I managed the transition between service providers, including arranging the logistics of data and information transfers and plans for individual service users. I also dealt with the uncertainty for the staff in my service (including myself) for 18 months leading up to the transition, motivating them to continue delivering to a high standard.

I provided the leadership needed to deliver the national drug strategy within the City of London, buy co-ordinating the City of London Substance Misuse Partnership. I built partnerships to develop cross sector initiatives and designed and managed effective, integrated treatment services. City Of London

I had overall responsibility for ensuring all elements of the substance misuse criminal justice programme in the City worked efficiently, ensuring that all staff were trained as necessary including police officers, magistrates CPS staff. I also had responsibility for data analysis, service user engagement and project management of drug and alcohol public health campaigns and events.Key successes: Set up a new Home Office criminal justice programme in the City police stations in first 3 months in the role.Increased the number of community based public health events.Improved data analysis to enable better decision making

City Of London

In this role I investigated further ways for the public and residents to report anti-social behaviour and developed policies and procedure for reporting incidents. I also produced reports highlighting anti-social behaviour trends in the City and presented these to a variety of partners. Key successes:As the first Anti-social behaviour Officer for the City of London I had to work hard to get relevant council departments on board to use the new reporting system that I had developed.I succeeded in getting senior council officers in other departments to understand the value of my work.
