As a teaching assistant, I teach and supervise tutorial groups. These tutorial groups consist of 16-24 (international) first-year bachelor or pre-master students. My responsibilities include presenting and explaining course materials; giving feedback; grading (group)assignments; and facilitating and grading presentations. The courses are mostly related to Research/Academic Skills; Organizational Behaviour; and Organization and Technology.

In my function as mentor, I supervise first-year students during the start of their bachelor's. I help them find their way in and around the faculty. Moreover, we discuss several topics which are interesting for first-year students such as concentration, motivation, and all types of possible issues that can arise when you first go to university (and live on your own).

The EBF Conference is the biggest two-day student conference in the Netherlands. In close cooperation with Logistics I, I make sure that everything runs smoothly during the conference.

Together with 25 fellow students, I looked into the diversified economy of Barcelona as an instrument for Spanish economic growth. We visited many different companies to give us insightful information related to the research topic and the role innovation plays in (Spanish) economic growth. We were supervised by two professors of the faculty of Economics and Business to assist us in the research.
