About Emma Stokes

I am a dual-degree graduate student at the University of Iowa. I am pursuing my master's degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems, as well as Finance. I have had the opportunity to gain professional skills such as project development and presentation capabilities through my summer internship with the Tippie Analytics Cooperative. Here, I helped develop a database using REDCap and an inventory management system, presenting progress reports to clients along the way. During my undergraduate studies, I had the privilege of becoming a member of a professional business fraternity, Phi Gamma Nu. Through this organization, I was able to gain valuable professional and leadership skills through my elected positions as New Member Professional Event Head, as well as Recruitment Chair. I still am able to utilize the skills this organization taught me, and I continue to build upon these tools in my future endeavors.I am very passionate about learning. In furthering my educational career, I have found that no matter how much I learn and engage with the material, in an ever-changing industry such as data analytics, there is always more to learn. I welcome any opportunities to grow and learn, whether it be in the classroom or in a hands-on environment. I hope to apply my skills and grow them in any experience I partake in.
