Emma Sutherland, is a highly experienced naturopath, nutritionist, author and speaker. Emma is multi faceted with a vast array of both clinical and business skills. Emma hold advisory board positions at both the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine and at the Blackmore's Institute. She holds an Adjunct Professional Fellow position at the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine. Emma is a podcast host at @FXmedicine where she interviews leaders of her field, bringing clinically relevant information to her audience. Emma believes every woman has the right to live a life filled with Mojo, to have that bounce in your step which comes from feeling strong, well and healthy. She has honed her craft and continues to update her knowledge constantly, looking for new ways to present that knowledge, be it at Studio You, an online program, a speaking event or health retreats.A huge passion is found in Emma’s love of mentoring and supporting other practitioners. She aims to provide clients with true collaborative care, and both educate and inspire women to exceptional health. She was the expert nutritionist on the popular TV show “Eat Yourself Sexy” on Lifestyle You. Her popular book, "50 Foods That Will Change Your Life" champions a Food as Medicine approach to life. Emma’s daughter, Sophia was born in November 2011 and has been the delight of her life since. Sophia has inspired Emma’s second book "Sophia Eats" which was released in July 2014. Her radio experience includes Body & Soul and a regular health spot with Bianca Dye.Emma is a fully qualified Naturopath, having completed four years of training in Herbal Medicine, Nutrition and Homoeopathy as well as a Bachelor of Health Science. She has years of experience in treating women and children throughout the preconception to post natal period. She has completed post graduate training in women’s health. Emma is a degree qualified Naturopath with membership to the National Herbalists Association of Australia.
