DISABILITY SUPPORT WORK: I have been involved with people with disabilities both personally and professionally, and where my heart truly lies. I have had experience with personal care, meeting client goals, note work, hand overs, medication training, first aid & cpr training and always current, a clear police clearance, working with children, social goals, transport training, cooking & feeding, house maintenance, meeting appointments for medical and more. I have been in the industry professionally for 5 years, and achieved a cert III in individual support, and currently studying Cert IV in Disability. FLORISTRY: I have been in and out of floristry for 15 years, and in that time I have gained so much experience and gone on to achieve my Cert III here in Perth after achieving my first certificate ( cert II ) in England, when I first began my venture. I have also done a RPL for the Australian equivalent in cert II. I have managed florists, been a single worker under a boss - including fulfilling valentines and Mother’s Day orders all by myself, delivered flowers, worked for a wholesaler, worked in a kiosk and shops, done some work as my own business, completed weddings including setups, worked with brides to achieve plans and quotes, created corporate arrangements, actively seeked out new corporate clients, provided quotes, taken and created orders, money handled, conditioned flowers, stock control, ordering of new stock including teddy bears, flowers, candles etc - I am very much a confident all rounder! I have been told I am a fast and hard worker, and I do thrive on a challenge and working peak times.
