I am motivated to become an Early Childhood educator because I want to be a role model, and supporting figure, and inspire my kids to be kind humans. I want to make my students feel heard and seen. I want to be the reason that children love coming to school and learning because they are having fun and enjoying themselves. I know that each of my students will bring something unique and special into my classroom and I am going to embrace all their passions, personalities, and qualities. Teachers are powerful influences on children, and I want to radiate accepting others for who they are, being kind to everyone, and teaching self-empowerment and love. Students also don’t always come from the best of backgrounds or support systems, so I want my classroom to be a safe environment, a space of community, and comfort.
