OTD student at the Washington University in St. Louis Program in Occupational Therapy and set to finish doctoral capstone in August 2023. I have a strong passion for the field of occupational therapy and empowering individuals in vulnerable situations to seek occupational balance and justice. My interest and focus throughout my education and research have been primarily on early intervention and pediatrics. I believe that I have developed a solid foundation in evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of child development and am eager to contribute my skills to any setting. My personal approach centers around building strong therapeutic relationships with children and their families, focusing on children’s socioemotional and mental health needs, and practicing trauma informed care. I am committed to continuous professional growth, seeking additional certifications, and staying updated on the latest research to deliver the highest quality of care. I am excited to make a positive impact on the lives of my future clients and actively contribute to the field of pediatric occupational therapy.
