My career started 20 years ago by working across primary and secondary education systems, delivering specific targeted support and interventions around emotional resilience and positive mental health for children , young people and their families. I have the privilege to hold the position of Principle Psychological Therapist for children in special circumstances within Bradford camhs. Previous to this I worked across Hull & Eastriding CAMHS as a Clinician,Team lead and as a Service Manger.I am an Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a Psychotherapist registered with UKCP, with many years clinical and operational leadership experience. I am the creator and owner of the SMASH Programme a Restorative Practice , Psycohosocial, group intervention that utilises principles of CBT. The programme has been endorsed by the Royal Collage Of Psychiatry as a best practice example and a Thrive for system change by Anna Freud. My passion and drive is the belief that relationships are key and we all have a story worth reading Out loud đź’•
