As a Junior Intelligence Analyst at IP House, I specialize in combating pharmaceutical intellectual property fraud. In my current position, I work closely with data and intelligence to safeguard brands and ensure that counterfeit and fraudulent activities are detected, analyzed, and neutralized.I recently completed my Master’s degree in Social Science Research (Criminology), where my dissertation, titled "Seeing is no longer believing: A Systematic Review of Social Science Literature into the Impact of Deepfakes and AI-Generated Impersonation", explored the complex and evolving risks posed by digital deception. This research allowed me to delve deep into the intersection of emerging technologies like deepfakes, cybercrime, and digital identity fraud, which continue to reshape the landscape of criminal activity in the online world.With a focus on Cybercrime, Digital Identity (DI), Deepfake technology, and Feminist Theory during my studies, I developed a thorough understanding of how technology is both a tool for crime and a solution for countering it. My work involves not only identifying threats but also analyzing their broader societal implications in the digital age, including the legal and social challenges associated with AI-generated impersonation.At the core of my professional and academic pursuits is a commitment to fostering a safer digital ecosystem.
