Through this role, I am positioning the university as a leader in progressing equity in higher education. I lead the Educating for Equality team to implement the VU and Our Watch partnership, which is contributing to whole of institution, complex people and system change. I have strategic oversight of sophisticated enterprise-wide initiatives, high-level reporting, legislative compliance, and evaluative research.

Through this role, I led Victoria University’s key legislative and benchmarking requirements under the Commonwealth Workplace Gender Equality Agency [Employer of Choice Gender Equality] & and the Victoria Gender Equality Act.

Support family violence organisations and government departments to cooperatively identify and initiate service system improvements for the benefit of women and children who have experienced family violence. Maintain a close working relationship with the Regional Integration Coordinator

Assist community service organisations to gain Homelessness Assistance Service Standards (HASS) accreditationLead reflective practice sessions with staff using a continuous quality framework and feminist governance and practice principles.Analyse policy and programs for areas of improvement and articulate practice in journal form for submission to accreditation body (formerly QICSA).

Facilitate co-productive relationships between Child Protection, Child FIRST/Child and Family Services and Integrated Family Violence Services at a local level. Co-develop service pathways, and partnership agreements to meet the needs of vulnerable children and young people who have experienced family violence.
