Secondment to a multi-million-pound end-to-end business transformation project representing the Clinical Operations and Clinical Logistics functions. Key Responsibilities• Operational implementation and management of scheduling and rostering system to manage nationwide clinical workforce• Manage data quality, system configuration and integration processes between scheduling software and Microsoft Dynamics CRM• Database querying and report building to feed MI and adherence reporting processes• Provision of training and coaching to schedulers and clinical managers, including production of training and reference materials• Analysis of resource and skills coverage to support targeted recruitment of clinical resource in line with demandKey Achievements• Successful implementation of a new scheduling and rostering system, including design, configuration and deployment, including provision of hypercare to national workforce.• Re-locating a scheduling function from the South to the Midlands, including recruitment and training of new scheduling team. • Driving the acquisition of geo-analytical tools to support effective analysis of resource and skills coverage, leading to more effective recruitment.

Key Responsibilities• Planning and delivery of operational aspects of business transformation projects, and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives• Gathering and analysis of data to offer insight to operational functions, as well as internal and external commercial stakeholders• Leading on the data capture, management and reporting aspects of new business implementation• Design and implementation of data management processes• Establishing and maintaining relationships between Clinical Operations, and the Commercial and Technical functions.Key Achievements• Implementing a new clinical scheduling tool while geographically re-locating a scheduling function and training a new scheduling team.• Delivering operational process improvements that facilitated growth within the NHS Projects business unit from a £4m turnover to in excess of £20m, with a minimal increase in staffing. Included acting as Operations lead on the transfer of a clinical workforce from paper-based data capture to a tablet-based mobile solution.• Developing and growing a reporting capability from four monthly reports, to more than 100 individual reporting streams delivered intra-day, daily, weekly & monthly, with no increase in resource.• Following acquisition of a competing healthcare provider, planned and managed the migration of data from three independent source systems to a single integrated record management system; also acted as Operations lead in the technical integration of the clinical workforce.• Adapting quickly to unanticipated managerial deployments in Care Bureau & Scheduling during unplanned absences of post-holders.
