- Management of the City of Rockingham’s Community Grants Program, including grants for both individuals and Community Groups. - Support applicants throughout the grant process and support their relationship with the City throughout their grant journey. - Provide support for Community Groups and individuals with grants, partnerships and fundraising through workshop delivery and individual support.- Management of the City of Rockingham’s Tertiary Scholarship Scheme; which supports local community members who are experiencing financial hardship in obtaining a TAFE or University Degree. - Provide Executive Support to the associated Committees of Council who support the grants and scholarship recommendations and provide advice and guidance. This includes preparing agendas, minutes, and council reports. - Accurate and effective record-keeping and management of the grants, sponsorship and scholarship documentation, processes and applicants.

Frankston, Victoria, Australia

Due to the COVID-19 health pandemic, I stayed in Victoria longer than intended and supported the Council through project-based consultation work. I supported projects to assist in community recovery, mainly focusing on older adults in the anticipation of the lockdowns ending, including:- Plan and develop the requirements for a community-led Community Recovery Committee to assist in community recovery after the COVID-19 lockdowns. - Support the development and delivery of Community Engagement for the Positive Ageing Action Plan, the Council’s inaugural strategic plan for seniors, including research and analysis of data sourced from Census Table Builder, Profile ID and desktop research.- Initial development and planning of a Seniors Technology program to provide iPads and tablets to older residents to support social connections during the COVID-19 lockdowns and stay at-home directions.

- Lead and manage a team of two Positive Ageing Officers and a Volunteer Officer, including leading and supporting them through the beginning of a health pandemic requiring staff to work remotely and re-designing a majority of our programs to align with the ever-changing COVD-19 restrictions to ensure safe and supportive engagement for our older community members.- To re-develop, launch and provide ongoing support for a seniors’ community reference group, the Age-Friendly Frankston Ambassadors, as the current format was no longer supporting the community or the City.- Develop a strategic direction and an annual plan for the team’s projects and budgets.- Development and delivery of Child Safe Training to Council Volunteers.- Support and provide direction into volunteers’ safe recruitment and management during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Subiaco, Perth

- Lead and manage a team of three Community Development Officers, specialising in neighbourhood building, volunteers, community wellbeing, access and inclusion, homelessness and begging, community safety, and positive ageing events and programs. In addition, I managed the City’s Community Grants and Community Organisations Capacity Building portfolio and co-managed the Community Centre we were based at. - Launch the City’s Community (Asset) Map and deliver staff training in updating and using the map.- Support staff through policy and procedure reviews and updates and report against two Strategic plans; Disability Access and Inclusion and Community Safety and Crime Prevention.- Reviewed and updated the Community Development Grants documentation and ongoing management of the Grants Program.

- Develop and launch a Neighbour Day grants program to support local leaders to develop connections and relationships within their communities.- Develop a system for tracking and sharing information about people sleeping rough and/or begging in the community that can be regularly shared with local service providers and WA Police. - Oversee the development and ongoing implementation of the City’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, including staff inductions, provide subject matter expertise and report annually on the plan to the Council and the Department of Communities.

Subiaco, Perth

- Lead and manage a team of four Community Development Officers, including the portfolio areas of children, youth and families, public art, multicultural events, culture and arts, and community events. I was responsible for management of the City’s Community Partnerships.- Restructure the Community Development and Programs teams to be working within an Asset Based Community Development model that better supports our community's strengths, in partnership with the Coordinator Community Programs.- Co-write the Community Development Framework (draft) to support the City working within an Asset Based Community Development model within the new structure. - Management of the City’s Community partnerships and the program, including negotiation of and updating of agreements, ongoing management throughout the partnerships and support and responsibility to ensure accountability from both parties.

City Of Subiaco

- Event manager for the City’s free community concert series, two winter and one summer series, including national and internationally renowned performers and increased average concert attendance from previous years.- Tender management of two concert tenderers, including writing the request for tender and Council reports and managing the successful company ensuring all requirements were met.- Concept development and delivery of the City’s inaugural Kaya Subiaco program; a cross-city three-month celebration of Aboriginal culture concluding in NAIDOC Week.- Management of the City’s annual Photographic award from entry acceptance, and judge liaison to the curation of the exhibition and management of the associated events. During this time I brought the application process completely online, supporting applicants throughout this process and development of local business sponsorship for the annual photographic awards and exhibition.
