About Emma Clarke
As a Regional Physical Activity Consultant, I support the promotion and delivery of physical activity programs and initiatives across Cape Breton. I work with various partners and stakeholders, such as community organizations, schools, Municipalities, and Mi'kmaq communities to promote and support unstructured, simple movement, physical activity.I have a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Dalhousie University and a CTRS certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. With these credentials, I have gained valuable experience and skills in one-on-one and group program planning and facilitation, working and volunteering with different client groups and settings, such as long-term care, youth-at-risk, and mental health and addictions. I am passionate about inclusion and accessibility, and I recently finished my 2 year term as the Membership Director on the NSTRA Board. My goal is to continue providing the best care for my community, residents, and future clients.
