Candidate Services Team LeaderRullion Mar 2020 - Sep 2020Altrincham, England, United KingdomIn March 2020 Rullion created a new department called Candidate Services. This department was responsible for managing all the pre-screening and compliance processes for clients across the whole business. To help make this a success, Rullion purchased a new online portal to provide our candidates with a seamless, exquisite experience during the screening/onboarding process.I moved across to this department as a βhands-onβ Team Leader and I was managing a team of six Candidate Services Advisors. Like my previous position, I managed and mentored my team to ensure they delivered an excellent service. Responsibilities included: β’ Conducting regular monthly 121s with my team and set objectives and goals for them to reach. β’ Setting SLAβs for the team to meet and produce excel reports to measure their performance.β’ Leading regular service reviews with key/managed solution accounts.β’ Acting as an escalation point for complex queries and service failures.When the Candidate Services department was created, I was part of the project team who were responsible for the implementation of the new onboarding portal. My tasks included confirming our clientβs onboarding requirements, configuring and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) on the new system ready for go-live. The team and I were responsible for onboarding contractors who have been directly referred by a client. This included following client screening requirements and specific processes set out by the client. I was responsible for ensuring our contractorβs assignments were managed as efficiently as possible. My other duties included:β’ Direct liaison with Rullionβs corporate clients.β’ Uploading candidateβs CVs on online client portals.β’ Offering new positions to candidates, negotiating day rates, agreeing contract terms and assignment details.β’ Onboarding new candidates and conducting pre-screening, if required, such as credit checks, DBS checks and references.β’ Ensuring our contractorβs right to work in the UK documentation complied with the Home Office regulations.β’ Processing contract paperwork, collating compliance documentation and initiating payroll set up.β’ Completing contractor day one check-inβs and ensuring onsite inductions had taken place.β’ Supporting contractors throughout their assignment, including payroll and timesheet queries.β’ Ensuring the Agency Workers Regulations 2010 was applied to our PAYE workers.β’ Managing contractor assignment renewals, which included liaising with the client to establish the assignment renewal requirement, offering the renewal to the contractor including any changes to pay or contract terms and producing contract paperwork.β’ Providing support to contractors when their assignment came to an end, including requesting an updated CV and providing this to our sales teams.β’ Updating client specific excel spreadsheets, client systems and generating MI reports.β’ Maintaining data integrity on the Rullion database.β’ Ensuring all quality procedures, Home Office guidelines and recruitment legislation were adhered to. β’ Obtaining Purchase Orders and comparing the information against Rullionβs database. -
