Hi! I am Emma Cummins, an Event and Recreation Management Major, Minoring in Hospitality at Central Michigan University. I am currently studying to receive my Bachelor of Applied Arts (B.A.A.) in the spring of 2028. Over the past few years, I have had many opportunities to work and intern in several areas of hospitality and customer service. I have worked at Joe's Produce Gourmet Market and Catering in multiple departments including acting in customer service at the Cafe as well as in catering. I have also held an internship position in the sales and banquet departments at Four Points by Sheraton Detroit Novi. I am currently working as a marketing and sales representative for Cottage Inn Pizza, located in Traverse City, MI. There, I work to manage their social media advertising across multiple platforms, execute promotional events, enhance brand awareness, and conduct fieldwork advertising to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. While at Central Michigan, I am an active member in multiple campus activities including the Association of Recreation and Event Professionals, the Hospitality and Tourism Association, and the American Sign Language Association. As well as being a resident of the Business Residential College.Looking to the future, I am open to opportunities to grow my experience and knowledge in event and sports management and hospitality. From an individual standpoint, I am dedicated and hardworking. My purpose is to give others positive experiences leaving them with great memories and smiles. With that, I cannot wait to connect!
