I am the founder of Bright Light Neuro, an early-stage education company dedicated to simplifying brain science for students and teachers. I hold a master's degree in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor's in Elementary Education and Global Studies from Purdue University. My passion for education has led me to teach in Honduras, Austria, Germany, and Haiti, enriching my perspective and approach. I also taught 3rd and 4th grade at a National Blue Ribbon School for three years. I am now working full-time at Bright Light Neuro, where we directly tackle gaps in the current science framework by offering engaging neuroscience lessons designed for young learners. By fostering a deeper understanding of the brain, we empower students to make informed choices, build stronger relationships, and live happier, healthier lives.
