I know that different in-house lawyers have different challenges so we have multiple channels including, Women in law, Sole/Small Team GC, Listed GC, Listed Lawyer, Parent's Club. Legal Operations, ESG and more!➡ I arrange events for in-house lawyers to share the lessons they’ve learned in law with the community. I also arrange out of the box networking including (but not limited to) our Annual General Counsel Burns Night, which raises over £20,000 for charity, Yoga classes taught by lawyers and for the last two years have organised a Community Team for the London Legal Walk. Send me your ideas!➡ I advise the community on how to network Offline and Online to unlock their personal brands for success using the Heriot Brown Method that Scott Brown and I developed. This is really cool and exciting and we have lots more of this coming your way!➡ I build my own network of events, community and marketing professionals to make introductions and get exclusive free tickets to their events. When I do, I create temporary event channels for community members to meet up, building on their Online Networking and removing some of the awkwardness to In-Person Networking. ➡ I listen to the community and do everything in my power to deliver what they need. If I'm unable to action, I will recommend another community or resource who can. ➡I pride myself in doing all of this without a single sponsor. In-House Legal Relationship ManagerThe Lawyer Nov 2015 - May 2022London🔺I headed up the invitation and entry processes for The Lawyer’s calendar of events including the exclusive General Counsel Strategy Summit and the largest showcase of legal excellence in Europe, The Lawyer Awards.🔺I focussed on the in-house market, building relationships with key in-house counsel through the events and editorial content. 🔺I hired two amazing relationship managers who supported me in this and thoroughly enjoyed my part in helping them grow their own networks and brands. 🔺In March 2020, I took over the management of The Lawyer's In-House Influencers Panel to keep the community informed and together during the pandemic.🔺Many of the event attendees I liaised with benefited from working with me as I enjoyed a boosting their personal brands by introducing innovative leaders to the editorial team.
