Outdoor educator at Rice University through Rice Outdoor Programs and Education (ROPE). Lead 2-3 backpacking/hiking/kayaking trips each semester ranging from day trips to week-long expeditions. As the trip logistics manager, I facilitate the departure and returns of all trips and assist in the gear rental process at the Outdoor Education Center as a part-time employee there as well.

Working under Dr. Philip Bedient and other professors, graduate, and post-doc students to research soil infiltration methods and flood mitigation projects using hydrologic modeling systems such as HEC-RAS/HMS and ArcGIS.
