Local Governance LeadI am responsible for maintaining good governance throughout all of the Star schools across our five partnerships and I ensure our trustees understand the current picture of local governance by supporting the trust's Nomination and Remuneration Committee. My current role has changed due to an increase in demand in other aspects of governance and so I am currently responsible for governance projects, panels (permanent exclusions, suspensions and complaints), governor recruitment and also complaints made against our trust-wide governance code of conduct.However, I still work very closely with our newly appointed Local Governace Team Leader and the Local Governance Support Officers, which this role now manages, to ensure strong support to all of our Local Accountability Boards.
