Senior technical writer for USAID global health proposals and senior specialist on Chemonics' Health Practice unit. Key roles include:o Lead technical writer for global and bilateral USAID-funded proposals and communications products (e.g. technical briefs, brochures, op-ed blogs, conference abstracts, and journal articles).o Manages Chemonics’ Health Practice unit, which leads the company’s global health industry outreach efforts, oversees the development of technical resources, conducts knowledge management activities, and supports staff capacity building.o Leads collaborative technical writing and communication product development efforts across multiple teams and departments. o Responsible for designing technical strategies in collaboration with subject matter experts, proposal partners, and proposal reviewers and writing key sections including the technical approach, monitoring and evaluation plan, and management approach of global health proposals. o Significant experience in writing USAID/PEPFAR HIV service delivery proposalso Conducts remote and in-country research with key stakeholders to analyze contextual factors impacting health system performance, gather in-depth country context, and confer with country-level and international experts to propose evidence-based solutions.o Mentors proposal section writers and serves as a proposal reviewer for responsiveness, persuasiveness, technical quality, depth of country context, and section alignment. o Supports the development of technical briefs and journal articles. Serves as a resource for the industry engagement efforts and organizing company participation in conferences.
