In August 2021 I was promoted to the position of Editor of Your Mortgage and Your Investment Property Magazine, publications we acquired from Key Media. In April 2018 I joined Williams Media as the journalist/editor of their flagship publication The Real Estate Conversation.In this role I:• Worked directly with the CEO, marketing team, international analysts, journalists in creating, editing and publishing content daily• Digital production: pitching, selecting, researching, as well as building and uploading daily articles and features to the website and optimising for suitable SEO keywords• Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram social media management• Sourced relevant images, videos and graphics• Wrote weekly auction market wrap-ups• Sourced contributors/bloggers and real estate agents for feature profiles• Compiled the daily news roundup• Attended and reported on industry events• Conducted interviews in person or over the phone and created articles from the discussions • Created and edited sponsored content• Distributed the daily e-newsletter using MailChimp• Onboarded new bloggers and contributorsDuring my time here I also wrote articles for and managed several other Williams Media publications including, but not limited to: RETalk Mena (a property news website for the Middle East market), Mingalar Estate Conversation (a Myanmar property news website), COMMO (commercial real estate news), The ASEAN Developer (property development news) and RECON Jobs (a real estate career advice website).
