Head coach for 2 youth rock climbing teams. Worked with a team of coaches to develop challenging and meaningful rock climbing practices for athletes ages 8-18.

I have been involved with undergraduate research since the Spring of 2019. I started out as a research assistant in Dr. Jeffrey Gibbons’ Basic and Applied Memory and Cognition Lab. I assisted with many studies related to the Fading Affect Bias (FAB). Studies included marijuana, social media diary, problem-solving, the 2020 election, the DRM paradigm, religion, video games, and the COVID-19 pandemic. As of Fall 2020, I am the lead research assistant of the lab. As a leader, I teach new research assistants how to enter and check data, how to run participants, and guide them through poster creation for conferences. I also assist my faculty adviser with writing for publications. I gather articles for the introduction and discussion sections of the paper, and I write sections of the paper.

Summer internship through the interdisciplinary research in education sciences program funded by the Institute of Education Sciences. Worked closely with Dr. Martha Alibali and graduate students in the Cognitive Development and Communication Lab. Project title: From Fractions to Algebra: Supporting Mathematical Reasoning and Interpretating Covariation Data.
