My name is Emma Kern and I am currently a Senior at Purdue University. My major is Human Services in the College of Health and Human Sciences. My long-term goal is to become a counselor. My short-term goal is to find an internship for this summer involving social work and attending Graduate School to get my Masters in Social Work. I am involved in PUDM here at Purdue which stands for Purdue University Dance Marathon. It is one of the biggest student-run organizations on campus. Together we raise money for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. This year I hold a position on the Executive Board! Service is something I am passionate about in my volunteer work and something I hope to pursue in my professional career.
