I'm the author of six books, including THE LAST LOVE NOTE (Penguin Random House Australia, Zibby Books US), which I wrote in the wake of my husband’s death. It's a fictional tribute to our love, an attempt to articulate the magnitude of my loss and a life-affirming commitment to hope. The novel was selected as a book club pick for the Book of the Month and Target book clubs in the US, featured on Oprah Daily and in the Washington Post and New York Post. My two Young Adult novels, UNREQUITED and TILLY MAGUIRE were published by HarperCollins. Together with award-winning composer, Sally Whitwell, I wrote a musical based on UNREQUITED, called DEADPAN ANTI-FAN.My non-fiction book on productivity, I DON'T HAVE TIME, is co-authored with Audrey Thomas, and my first book was a parenting memoir, WITS END BEFORE BREAKFAST! CONFESSIONS OF A WORKING MUM. PICTURES OF YOU will be released in November 2024.I produce commissioned and freelance articles, website copy and business and communications artifacts for government and private sector clients.Together with Audrey Thomas, I work with midlife women to reinvent themselves amidst the challenges of life. We offer corporate training and individual coaching on productivity and resilience, including "The Reinvention Project" and "Fast Forward Coaching". I'm a storyteller with a capacity to inspire on the topics of grief, parenting, ‘sandwich generation’ pressures, creativity, ambition, rejection, persistence, and ‘turning up the light’ despite unexpected loss and trauma.
