I provided household management and secretarial services for a private, independent family, assisting with day-to-day planning, coordination, and care of their home as a whole. The care I provided for this particular family included individualized childcare for their three children (ages 8, 6, and 3), focusing with each on growing emotional intelligence, age specific education, and imaginative play.

Working for St. Andrew’s City Church branch, I was responsible for graphic design and written copy on all churchwide publications to include weekly blog, newsletter, print materials, and social media. Additionally, I planned church-wide events and all promotional campaigns, organized new ministry teams and outreach programs to address congregational and community needs, and implemented a system for the updating and maintenance of current and historic congregational records.

As the Project Assistant at Doors to Freedom, I wrote and edited all documentation (focusing on rehabilitation, educational curriculum, advocacy efforts, case management, and personal growth) for D2F's new full time residential facility.

During my time at Hawkes Learning Systems, I worked as part of a small, pioneering Business Development research team assisting the company with plans to expand course and academic discipline offerings. Within my research, I focused and then proposed new sectors for company growth, to include organizations suitable for future company partnerships. Within our small team, I was responsible for designing and creating training documentation to pair with our research to ensure future efficiency, best practices, and adherence to company protocols.

As a part of A21's Charleston Team, I worked to create, update, and redesign Aftercare Model documentation and educational curriculum specific to rehabilitation and life skills. I also wrote the organizational submission of the Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report, published by the US Department of State, which focused on aftercare implementation and educational programming, trafficking legislation and training, and the national trafficking scene.

At End Slavery Tennessee, I developed curriculum for youth education, awareness, and prevention programming and facilitated “Human Trafficking 101” classes for middle and high schoolers traveling to E.S.T. from across the nation. I worked in community with E.S.T. social workers and observed legal advocacy work through attending meetings of the local state legislature, court appearances, as well as local law enforcement trainings.

During my time at Thistle Farms, I worked to established a social media marketing system based on research of contemporary trends, comparable consumer brands, and partnered non-profit organizations. I also helped with the coordination of the annual Magdalene Program Conference, which gathers attendees from across the nation for a weekend of training centered around social entrepreneurship, models of residential care, and survivor advocacy.
