As a Referee Training Coach, my primary responsibility was to create and implement weekly training sessions for all Launceston-based referees to ensure they had the knowledge, fitness, skills, and confidence to officiate their games effectively each week. In this role, I worked with a range of athletes from juniors up to state league level. It was the collaboration with athletes, coaches and the manager that ensured all programs were effective.

In this role, I was responsible for the design and implementation of well-researched, evidence-based physical preparation programs. These programs included injury prevention, conditioning, load monitoring, and general sports trainer work. In this role, I worked collaboratively with Head Coaches and other coaching staff to ensure the facilitation of suitable programs.
