We are a Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Information Management consultancy. We support and guide clients from the architectural, engineering, construction and Owner-Operated (AECO) industry throughout their digital transition and BIM adoption journey. Digital Built Consultants’ processes, workflows and tools ensure their clients successfully implement BIM at an operational level in their own organisations and at execution level on their building projects. I have over 20 years’ experience in the AEC industry in Ireland and internationally with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Technology from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Bolton Street and a Master’s Degree in BIM Management from Middlesex University. I was one of a small number of students to win a scholarship from Middlesex University, which are awarded to postgrads for academic excellence.I have extensive experience implementing BIM processes in large international AEC and Project Management organisations and I have executed BIM on a number of high-value complex projects in the pharma, food, energy and mission-critical sectors such as the Dublin Waste to Energy plant at Poolbeg, I also have extensive experience delivering residential, retail and commercial projects.I am actively involved in driving progress in BIM adoption in the AEC industry and I presented research papers at international conferences such as the CitA BIM Gathering. I am also on the Judging Panel for the BIM Excellence category at this year’s Irish Construction Excellence Awards and involved in the BIM Innovation Capability Programme (BICP). I mentor and support the development of women’s careers in BIM through my involvement in the Women in BIM (WiB) network.
